Product Review – Amsam 3 pack Stainless Steel Mesh Tea Ball Infuser

This #AmsamTeaInfuser tea ball set is pretty basic. But basic is really all you need. Each ball comes with a chain and hook to secure it to the side of your cup or your favorite tea pot. Open the ball, filling one side with tea mixture- approx. 1 Tbs. full, then close. Be sure the latch is fully closed other wise you will end up with loose tea floating in your cup. Then submerge your tea ball in to pot. Then add boiling water over the tea ball. Allow tea to steep for 5 minutes before pouring.

I had no difficulty with this products operating properly. The locking clasp locked securely, I didn’t experience any gaps, the hook held the tea pot correctly. No problems what so ever. However, with anything that is mass produced, there can be some variances from one product to another.

It is important to note that these are made primarily from food grade stainless steel. I prefer to use stainless steel when associated with any food or beverages. However, the fixed nail where the chain is attached is made of aluminum. Its small, so just be aware it is not entirely stainless. It will not necessarily hurt you. Most refillable water/sports bottles are completely made from food grade aluminum. So I don’t think it is cause for concern. I do not keep my ball in the pot after steeping. You may want to remove your in a similar manner to reduce risk of leaching from the aluminum.

I am really happy with how this product functioned for me. I will be using these tea balls for a long time to come.

I received this product for free for my honest review and opinion i would give this more then 5 stars but only had 5 to choose from.
